What is the mission of HealthQuest?
HealthQuest was built to empower children to grow into confident, emotionally resilient, and health-literate humans—without lectures or shame. We believe kids learn best through curiosity, play, and small daily wins. But growth doesn’t happen in isolation. The best outcomes occur when families are supported, too. That’s why HealthQuest also provides guardians with practical tools and tips to help kids build healthy habits. Together, we’re creating a supportive, engaging, and empowering environment for the whole family.

Why did you create HealthQuest?
I’ve spent nearly 20 years in pediatrics, 12 of them as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Again and again, I’ve seen families know exactly what “healthy” looks like and still struggle to make it happen at home. Information was never the problem. I built HealthQuest to find what’s actually in the way and help families work on it together, in a way kids actually want to do.

What is your experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner?
I’ve been a pediatric nurse practitioner for 12 years, and in pediatrics for nearly 20. Alongside clinical care, I’ve led family education and worked side by side with parents on building healthier routines. In 2026, I was named an AONL Nursing Innovator, one of 10 nationally. I also write the HealthQuest children’s books, including Mia and the HealthQuest Dragon.

How does HealthQuest help families build habits without shame?
By shifting the conversation from blame to support. HealthQuest focuses on habits, not appearance. No diets, no weight talk, no “good” or “bad” food. Through short lessons, reflection, and play, kids and parents build confidence together, in a space with no judgment.

What motivated you to focus on Generation Alpha?
Generation Alpha is growing up surrounded by tech, social media, and constant messaging about health and body image. Reaching them early with playful, positive, and empowering content is critical. HealthQuest meets them where they are—with interactive tools that speak their language and support real change.

How does your background lend credibility to HealthQuest?
Nearly 20 years in pediatrics has shown me what works and what doesn’t when it comes to kids’ health. I’ve worked with schools, healthcare systems, and families, and I know families need tools that are fun, flexible, and fit real life.

What are your long-term goals for HealthQuest?
Our long-term goal is to become the go-to platform for child health and wellness. We’re working to expand into schools, clinics, and homes—supporting kids and caregivers with engaging education and real-time tools. We also aim to shape public health policy by showing how early intervention and digital innovation can drive lasting change.

What kind of impact do you hope to achieve with HealthQuest?
I want kids to build healthy habits they keep for life, feel stronger emotionally, and grow up with families who are on the same team. With the right tools and support, this generation can grow up stronger, happier, and more confident.
